question about blind scanning

i have a pansat dvb receiver and was wondering if you have to bling scan a sat just once or every time to find the feeds? the reason i ask is because of how feeds just pop up alot. when the feed isnt there do you still get the channel on the scan because i scanned t6 and didnt notice any feeds or any blank channels. also what is the difference in a 4dtv for digital then another digital rec slaved with an analog? thanks

it varies, most pop in and out. what i do is scan em all but
i keep a clean channel list from either channel master or the coolsat editor.
this helps me from overloading my channel list and keeps mine in clean order.
