Question about Direct TV?

My father lives in East Texas in the sticks and currently has Direct TV, but he can't get an East or West coast feed for local programming. He is a big Nascar fan and its on FOX. I live in Orange County CA, and If I subscribe to Direct TV, could I send an additional box to him to let him receive programming from the West Coast in my name? I checked with Direct TV online and I do qualify for the local programming. Just Curious.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Either you both receive east coast feeds, or you both receive west coast feeds

I think he does have an East Coast Feed, but for local programming he cannot get HD content and he wants the West Coast Feed. Is that possible?
