Question about HD

I heard in Scott's show the other night that some new HD was uplinked for testing. It was G4, wild, etc. How long before we can expect to see these channels?

Sorry if this question is a stupid one. I am new to dish network and forums.

Dish has a history of announcing channels that a) never happen at all, b) happen months past their promised date, or c) don't get announced at all, and just magically appear one day. Same goes for dropping channels.

Don't feel like you're being left in the dark, because we all are. You can drool over the uplink reports (available elsewhere in this forum), but they don't mean anything.

Often Dish will up-link a channel or service, closed to customers, for a very long period, but never offer that channel, or perhaps offer it several months down the line. The parties may be in negotiations but never strike a deal. Just because it is unlinked doesn't mean we will ever get it, but it does increase the chances somewhat.
