Question about the VIP211k

Will a VIP 211k work with a DPH hybrid, triple LNB? I have seen conflicting information on that question, but the consensus of opinion seems to be that it will work if there is not an H3 receiver in the mix. The installation that I propose to do is the hybrid LNB with a 1000.2 (WA) dish and will contain only one VIP 211k and nothing else.

Has anyone verified that this will work?

DPH lnbf's are not designed for anything but Hoppers. It will initially work, for a time, but than fail. You should use a DPP lnbf instead

Yes, I am aware of that, and if I had ordered the equipment that was to be used in this installation, I would have made sure that it contained a DPP lnbf. I am just checking to make sure of the question that I asked so as to save the person with the equipment the trouble of having to send the whole mess back just to obtain the DPP.

If you have software version L860 or later, a hybrid LNB works with a 211k. If you have any doubts, go with the DPP.

Then the hybrid twin LNBF should work just fine.
