I am new to Dish DVRs. I have a 722k and I set up a timer to tape all new episodes of Dexter. When I went to look at my recordings I noticed it was not there.
I realized that I did not set up the timer on the main Showtime channel but one of the alternate ones.
My question is do timers work by show title or are they specific to the channel you set it up on. That is, if I set up Dexter on Showtime Too, will it only look for new episodes on that specific channel, or will it look for it anywhere it can find it?
My guess is that it is the former beause when I looked at the DVR schedule it dod not show up on the skipped timers. I guess whatever channel I set it up on did not show the episode that night.
