question on vip 722k

I have a couple of question about that receiver please.
It`s got dual tuner. Does this mean I will be subject to $5 extra receiver fee?
And it`s HD and DVR receiver but I will only be ordering basic programming with no hd and dvr service. Would this receiver serve my interest with no problem? TIA

If the 722 is your main receiver then you are not charged the extra receiver fee. I believe you would be charged the DVR fee though, unless they can disable it, which I don't know.

Dual tuner, single receiver. The first receiver, not tuner, is included. But likely $6 DVR fee.

Best to go to on-line Dish site and see what charges would be before you accept the change.

The 722k will cost you nothing for receiver fees but you will have to pay $6 for the DVR fee. If you do not want HD or DVR you should get a 222 or a 322 receiver.
