Questions installing dish 500 w 311 reciver

I have
Dish 500 w/ Dish Pro Plus Twin LNB OLD OFF my house
311 Receiver NEW bought at radio shack yesterday

this is what I am doing I am trucker On the road. Many other truckers have a dish setup it seems to work fine. I Know I have to ajust the alignment everytime I stop and use the Dish By using the zip code for the Elevation LMB Skew and a good Compass For the Azimuth

Tools I have
Angle Locator
Compass
Radio Shack Meter

Question I have is running the Coaxial Cable there are 2 ports on the Twin LNB and the last one I think is a input. Do I run the Cable from port one to the back of the Receiver 311 or do I need a switch?
Will the Receiver 311 work with the Dish 500 w/ Dish Pro Plus Twin LNB?


My meter has tone. but nothing on the Point dish screen?
any help would be great thx

Connect the 311 to output 1. The DPP Twin has a switch built-in with the 2 LNBs.

yes it will no switch needed
