Hey, I'm a little new and I guess a little confused.

I'm a new subscriber to Dish HD (Essential pack) and I was wondering how often Dish actually adds channels. I don't mean uplinks, I mean actually turned on and activated for customers to watch.

Like a lot of people, I'm still waiting for my locals, along with a few such as Sci Fi and USA that are apparantly coming "soon..."

So, should I expect new channels to pop up every once in a while, or is it rare?
