r15 reciever -- what rf remote?

Hello
I purchased a directv dvr receiver model r15 for my husband for Christmas and I want to get him an RF remote setup as well. I am having trouble figuring out which, if any, would work with this. Am I limited to just directv brands? Any suggestions on what would work for me?

If you're taking about making the R15 an RF remote receiver, while there's a connection on the back for a RF remote antenna the box at this time doesn't support RD remote, just IR. DirecTV might provide a software upgrade in the future so the box supports one but then again they may never do that. So right now you'd be looking at an external setup that uses RF between repeaters and then IR into the R15. Sorry.
