Greetings,

I have an RCA DTC-210 which has the common (from what I have read on good ole google) clicking/flashing defect when plugged in. I am about to purchase the replacement part to repair this:
512-KA1M0565RTU
Manufacturer Part #: KA1M0565RTU
Manufacturer: Fairchild Semiconductor
Description: Switch Products .

My question, will this work for use with Comcast digital cable as I am planning or attempting to connect a Stand-alone HD receiver to an HD-DLP projector?

From what I have read, it will receive OTA signals and apply to any monitor/TV.
Can I connect to cable and use the DVI out to a projector?

I would rather know before I spend the $5 on the part and the time to resolder it. I picked up the 210 for free ;)

Thanks in advance.

Really, no one knows or has even tried this in any kind of DTV box?
It seems like it would work as it has all the F-Type/input connectors to connect to an OTA ANT., or cable input. Its marked as such anyway. I just wish the bloddy thing powered on so I could just try it.
