RCA remote and RCA TV

Hi all, a strange thing happens when I hit the satellite button on my remote control. It changes the TV channel (RCA TV) to channel 2 and then I have to dig out the TV remote to change it back to channel 3. In the set up, I selected channel 3, but it switches to 2. any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hook up a coaxial cable from the back of the satellite box to the back of the tv. Run the "searching for channels option" on the tv menu. The TV will find channel 3 during the search. You can keep the coaxial hooked up or remove it. Once the channel is found it shouldn't go away (unless you repeat the mistake you made originally).

Yup. You can usully set the channel that a specific button goes to on the TV. I have a 10 year old RCA TV that I can tell to go to Channel 90 for S-video when I press Sat on the remote.
