Bill Hunt sent me a personal email confirming that the Lethal Weapon series is already being redone by WB and should be out "early this year."
It will be labeled the Director's Cut.

Ah, I am looking forward to that, I think they should have released a box set LW1 - LW4 all on Blu-ray when they decide to release it.

Ah, this is just the start. I expect that we will now start to see many 'improved' versions of the same movie on BD. It worked for 'The Fifth Element' (that first one should have been burned before it got to the store) so maybe this time around they will add all the extras to the movies too!
