Ready to dump Directv

I'm not crazy about the new guide. I hate the lag, and if I am watching a non HD channel and bring up the guide, it is almost unreadable. Why if on a SD channel does the guide come up in SD?

The guide is in hd on my HR44 even when tuned to an sd channel.

I had the new UI for a few days, and went back to the old for now. I had an issue i thought was due to the new UI, but it actually wasn’t, but overall, i really liked it, didnt notice much lag at all on the 1003 version

Really? I just tested it out, and when I tune to a channel like 297, cartoon network, and then pull up the guide, it is very blury.

I just tried what you said and I don't see any difference in the guide from channel to another.

Any clues as to what would cause this on mine? It's really not a big deal, as I don't watch many SD channels, but it is just something that I noticed.

Maybe you have Native on in the settings.

That was it. I turned it off, and Guide is HD on SD channels. Thanks!!!
