Sorry for the crappy camera phone pic, but you get the idea.

This has happened many times in the last 2 weeks when I turn off my ViP 722 receiver. It just stays this way, and even bounces around that way a few times before the text returns.

No big deal, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

That's not a glitch. It is there to protect your screen from burn-in. When you turn off the 722 you would normally turn off the TV as well.

I have had the same thing, and no, it is not normal. I think my 722 has even restarted once when this happened.

I've Had the same thing on my 622, I also noticed that when new shows start recording the timer stays at 01 till the show is fully recorded. Also that when I use cancel to check info it never times out any more. I have to press cancel again to close it.

Yes, I know the screen saver is supposed to come up - but its not supposed to come up BLANK like that! And yes, I turn off the TV after that screen comes on.
