Here
I have a HR20-100 that starting yesterday will run for some lenght of time, could be an hour or 2 and then locks up. Anyone else have this problem? The only fix is to reboot the box and then the problem starts all over again.

Have you unplugged it or done a simple reboot? Unplugging may make a difference. Make sure it is unplugged for 10-15 minutes or so.

I have rebooted it. See my post. ;) :D

I will try the unplug thing when I get home though.

Oops, sorry, I should have been more specific. I was asking if you did a rbr or reset through the menu.

I pushed the red button on the front, so I guess that is a reboot.

Yup, but my understanding is that it is better to do a reset through the menu. I don't know why!

When the box locks up you can't reset it via the menu.

Once you reset it with the red button or unplugging it resetting it via the menu after that won't really matter.
