Recent upgrade to 722 problems

We upgraded so we could have a better dvr than the 522
the turbo 500 dish was replaced with a 1000.2 [probably]
the signal strength is terrible I lose one of the satellites frequently [no local channels]
we had a service call, but no real improvement
any suggestions?

Do you have the Dish Home Protection Plan?.If not signup for it $6. at month,then keep calling Dish Network to fix your problem(if they don't fix it right the first time).Good Luck!

Also don't look at your signal strength,look at the picture.Do you have pixilation in the picture in good weather?.If you do you have a problem,again.Good Luck!

I keep having signal loss,
problem is the queue for a service call is a week
I'm wondering about going back to the old dish remounted in a more advantageous place?
how would I determine the optimum location?
