Recommendations for PS3 Offline Multiplayer Games

Much to my delight, my girlfriend game me Ratchet & Clank for x-mas. Much to our chagrin it's not multiplayer (I'm still keeping it though ).

She's game for gaming, so I would like to ask you forum folk if you have any recommendations for offline multiplayer games for the PS3 besides the obvious sports ones. I'm a relatively new gamer and sometimes have trouble determining if a game is multiplayer based on online descriptions. As a general rule, are all RPG's multiplayer?

Offline Mutliplayer games, there is something wrong with that title.
I don't think I've ever seen an RPG game not online.

Lego Star Wars is the perfect game for you guys... simple fun and 2 player co-op play.


and not all RPGs are multiplayer... Oblivion is a perfect example (and a GREAT game, btw)

You can browse the Playstation Store on your PS3 for some games.

Toy Home is multiplayer offline as well as online and is only $9.99

I definitely had my eye on Lego Star Wars. Thanks for confirming it has 2-player co-op. I'm surprised Elder Scrolls is single player only. I was interested in that one too. I'll also check out the PS store.

Does anyone know if the Simpson's or Folklore has a 2-player co-op option?
