Recording issue

The last 3 nights I'm having a difficult time watching my tigers game recordings. I schedule them ahead of time so I can watch at night when I get time. That last 3 nights it just does nothing. It's like it isn't recording. Any suggestions?

Try setting a manual timer. Dvr 4x then green button

If recording off your HD RSN, set a manual timer to start 2-3 minutes after game time, if it happens to kick in before Dish switches from the slate to the HD programming, it will record a blank channel, no video, no audio.

This just makes no sense. Why should I do a manual timer. This has always worked until this week I get this because it starts early then the recording goes dark. It doesn't even let me forward it. This is making me miss directv.
