I have 2 Samsung TVs and a Samsung Soundbar all being operated by Dish remotes. As suggested, I just entered Samsung in the remote setup and it found the right codes the first time. CEC turns on my TV and my Soundbar works great. I was a bit nervous when I read reviews for the Soundbar and people were complaining that they couldn't get their universal remotes to work with it. Just do the remote setup you should have no problems.
