Replacing HDD in 942 (9200) DVR

I managed to get another 9200 HD-DVR (same thing as the 942) for my expressvu account. Works perfectly as an HD receiver, but the HDD is bad, so it won't do DVR.

I still have my old 942 that Dish upgraded to a 722 lying around.
Can I just pop that HDD into the 9220, and then have it reformat it itself?

I'm asking here, since it's the same hardware as a 942, and hopefully someone here has replaced the HDD in a 942.

I believe the Dish Mod Groups tackle this and might help tell you which drives are compatible... I think you need the exact same drive...

The drive I'm going to put in is from a 942 (was deactivated during the MPEG 4 transition). So it's the exact same drive, or should be.

It should work. Pop em both open and check out the drives.
