There is a report on dcrtv.com - washington dc/baltimore area radio/tv/media that states that WJLA TV in DC plans to lease low powered station WWTD on Ch 49 after the digital transition date to broadcast their signal.

WWTD is currently an affiliate of the WUFO network. I get it OTA but it does not have a terrific range so it is hard to see what WJLA will gain by this.

This is pretty stupid. Digital is the way to go. No low powered analog station is going to help out the people who cant figure out the switch. It's not really that complicated.
