santo died wednesday from complications of bladder cancer. he was truly an inspiration for me because he suffered from diabetes, even during his playing days and eventually had both legs amputed. even in bad health, he was always in the radio booth doing color for the cub games. its a shame he never got called to cooperstown. we'll miss ya ron. god bless.
