Royals-Tigers 4-2 already blacked out???

I just looked in my guide this afternoon and the 4/6 NYY-KC game is no longer blacked out in the guide. I hope there will be no more problems with these incorrect blackouts this year.

Apparently for those in Iowa, we're just permanently screwed. We can't pay for MLB.tv (blackout due to being in the royals "regional viewing area"), can't subscribe to directv extra innings (same thing - blacked out due to being in their region) but yet we only get 45 of 144 games regionally. They really need to remove the blackout for games that I have no way of getting.

These are apparently the only games those in Iowa will get (according to the royals website)

Maybe this is wishful thinking. But in taking a closer look on the Royals website, 45 games are going to be on FSN Midwest, ch 418. However, this is also on the Royals website:

"Royals games on FSN-Kansas City are available within FSN's Royals footprint on DirecTV and Dish Network via the satellite providers' sports alternate channels. On DirecTV, Royals games will air on channel 648. On Dish Network, the channel number for Royals games will vary between 444 and 452. "

Maybe we will also be getting some of these games from FSN-KC on the alternate channels. That looks to be the case today.

And even if they did conflict, you'd think there would be an Alt-HD channel with the Royals' game. That's how the SD RSNs work.

I read somewhere that the 45 games shown on FSN Midwest (ch 418) are ones that do not conflict with the Cardinals. I think we should be able to see the others on the alternates channels.
The next one on ch 418 should be April 12.
