Hello,

I was wondering something...I know baseball games are blacked out on them in out of market areas, however do you still get to see the pre and post game shows or do they black those out as well? I'll give an example, red sox fans will know mostly what I'm talking about here...on nesn, they have whats called extra innings(their post game show), do they black that out as well in out of market areas? So I guess to sum up my question, do they only black out the game in out of market areas?

Thanks,

they black out a 3 hour segment so if the game runs long you'll see the last little bit :)

I know the pregames are shown and post games are too (as long as its outside the 3 hour block.)

so as an example...Twins game
6:30 CDT is pregame
7:00 CDT Is game <------blackout for people outside Twins Territory
10:00 CDT is post game <-----blackout is lifted at this time regardless of game. So if the game ends early, the postgame is blacked out until 10

Thanks for the reply, I did not realize that...it is rare that a game gets done before 3 hrs now a days. I have the extra innings package anyway, but was wanting to see the pre and post game shows.
