Russian Rocket goes down in flames

Yet another Briz-M failure. What is atypical is that it was a lower stage failure, and not the typical upper stage failure that the Briz-M is known for.

So it's not a Briz failure. Didn't get that far. Briz is only an upper stage, and not the only upper stage they have to choose from. It's purely a Proton failure, rather uncommon.

What is the Russian' s success vs failure rate ?

And how does it delay future launches ? Do they stop launches while they "investigate" the cause(s)?

Or political relations with Kazakistan.

Yes, they most certainly will stop launches of that particular rocket (Proton) until they think they have a fix and have implemented it. Probably be blamed on a manufacturing error. And probably was.

How do you get out of solo mode?
