Salisbury, MD adding MeTV and NBC in the next week

Salisbury, MD is getting MeTV on the 26th and NBC on June 1

MeTV, Memorable Entertainment Television, has signed an affiliation agreement with WMDT Salisbury, Md. (DMA 142). WMDT, which is owned by Marquee Broadcasting Inc., is launching on May 26, and will be seen over the air on ch. 47.3,


NBC is coming via a change to WRDE-LD which is in Rehoboth Beach, DE (right now its a My Network/Cozi affiliate..they are moving to -2)
The Delmarva Peninsula now has its own NBC affiliate. WRDE-LD is licensed to Rehoboth Beach, Del., but will serve a large portion of Delmarva (including parts of Maryland and Virginia) starting in June.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this new NBC station is supposed to have its transmitter in Maryland, between Chesapeake Bay and Delaware? Isn't that going to be fairly distant for a low-power digital station?
