Samsung Galaxy Note 9

I have 8+ and waiting for 10.

Brother in law is heavy user of note 9.
He said the note 9 has much longer battery life than note8. He is in sales and that is a big deal for him.

I too am waiting on the S10, not the S10 +, as I don't really want anything bigger than my S7, but they get bigger and bigger with each model year ...
The Samsung S10e is the Lite version.

I can't dispute how much longer the 9 lasts over the 8 but I do have the Note 8. With what is normal usage for me, heavy on texts, a few relatively short phone calls, a couple or more alerts from cameras, checking cameras, some streaming of music, and some questions to OK Google I get two full days with some to spare. In fact sometimes well into the third day I get the warning of low battery because I forgot to charge the phone that third morning.

I do not have location turned on normally because that eats batteries. But I do always have data and wifi turned on. I have only those apps that need to run in the background allowed. I don't do Facebook or twitter.

Going to order up 2 s10+ models for us and a couple Anker wireless chargers when it hits the market. The Samsung wireless charger is inferior and has trouble charging through protective cases. The
Anker works great.

She wants to dump her iphone but says she is going to keep it in reserve in case she does not like the jump (keeping her life raft inflated for a while).

Wants the bigger variety and better android google app support for some of her apps.

Brother-in-law will inherit my 8+

I'm guessing we will keep these for a few years.
The phones are all getting so good that the yearly improvements could almost be called cosmetic (excepting battery life and cameras).

Do you foresee an Anker wireless charger that does both the Samsung S10 and the S3 Smart watch ?
I've never seen the Anker versions, but I know the Samsung ones are out there ...

The S10 will be no where near that .... it should come out in the $950 - $1050 range (hoping for less of course).

The S10 + should be around $1200.
Not 1200 dollars...1200 pounds

." The entry-level 5.8-inch S10 Lite will reportedly start at £669, followed by the 6.1-inch S10 at £799 and the range-topping S10 Plus at £899 (which could measure either 6.4 or 6.7 inches, depending on who you ask). All three models will come with at least 128GB of storage, the article reads, though the highest capacity S10 Plus will offer 1TB of storage for a whopping £1399.

I've been looking for (and waiting) the Anker wireless charger duo, that will also charge the smart watch ...
Samsung has thiers from last year still out, the one that sits the phone up is last years, the new one both sit flat ... from what I have seen/heard from the manager of the Samsung Reps, the newer Samsung chargers run a higher wattage for faster charging ... last years was 10w for phone and 7.5 for watch ... I believe this years is 12w for the phone and 7.5 for the watch.

I'm waiting for them to show up at the Att store (when they get them) as I get it for 50% off.
UNLESS Anker comes out with one thats as good ...

I saw the Anker 10 W stand that incorporates a cooling fan for the electronics in the base; comments say it's fine for the office but noticeable in a bedroom environment. Hopefully the 12 W unit is silent.

I'm also watching . I also got burnt on the Samsung wireless and like the Anker.

Has anyone seen a 12w one for the S10 and watch yet from Anker ?

What happened with the Samsung one, your talking the older one right ?

Flat Disk style a couple years old now and it was shaky making the connection through a robust protective case so I could end up thinking it was charging but it had lost connection.

The Anker does not have that problem.

I had alos bought one of those DeX connector devices ($) so I could tinker on my computer but threw it in the garbage. It is intended to solve a problem that does not exist for me.
