I found a directv satellite dish III and I was wondering if it will work with dish network ? I was going to mount it in a private camp spot and use it with my dish 311 I have in my motorhome. Am I wasting my time?

18" Directv dish yes it can be used, anyother Directv dish no due to incompatible switching. Best is buy a duplicate dish and LNB to connect to.
