I'm shopping around for a meter to replace my Birdog USB Plus (since it doesn't do DVB-S2). Any recommendations? I just looked at the Birdog HD-S2A - judging by the price I'd say that Birdog is real proud of their meters. I can't remember what I paid for the USB Plus but since I'm retired now I need to keep costs down. I want a decent meter that does DVB-S2/8PSK (optionally 16APSK) but I'd like to keep it under $200.

I have a pci card in my computer and use the ebspro android app to tune my dish. It speaks out the SNR value every time it changes so that you can use both hands and eyes for adjusting the lnb/dish.

I have a TBS 6922SE but I use it with Linux.
