I am looking for the *.ini file format for a satellite/transponder text list. Google only shows where to get files, and there are many websites. However; I am looking for the format that is generally used. I know there may be variations between satellite programs, but I suspect there is also common usage.
The ini file is a Windows format used for countless applications. The software to process the ini file is the same regardless of use and has been used as a simple database for satellite transponder data. The format has been around for many years now, but I am at a loss of where I can find specific details.
Typical format is:

1=Sat position
2=Sat Name

4=Local oscillator frequency 1
