No. In fact, the DP Twin is recommended.

Wrong answer. The DP Twin works fine with the DPP33. The DPP Twin does not.

The DPP33 doesn't "negate" the DP Twin, it just disables the DP features.

UPDATE:

So this morning my 211k was giving me the same problem again. It is still on port #1 so i'm guessing its a switch problem. I'm going to swap the switch out and see if that resolves the problem.

UPDATE:

Replaced the original switch with a new one. Everything has been working fine now for a few days (knock on wood). So it seems it was an issue with the DPP33.

Hmmm, faulty switch. Did you have problems replacing the switch where you bought it?

No problem at all. It was bought via Ebay and the seller had no problem exchanging it for a new one.

The DPP33 has been around since at least October 2008.

Update: There is a post here that indicates a DPP33 installation in July 2008.
