And down in Texas, I typically stay away from working on my setup because it is too hot. I can't wait for the late Fall.....I've been collecting stuff to keep me busy for the winter....

What am I missing here? I thought SES-3 was to replace AMC-1. Isn't DTV using it for their Ka stuff? Or are they wanting to park SES-3 along side AMC-1? Their SWM dish is for 99, 101, and 103. I guess the owners of SES-3 didn't get the blessing of DTV!!! Oh, well, so gos FTA, here today and gone tomorrow. E_V

Not SES-3, DTV has their own bird.

SES-3 is still scheduled to replace AMC-1, as soon as they get the green light from the FCC; which may not happen until well into 2015. It will still be for FTA use, the DTV channels have their own satellites.
