Its been two years since the tragedy of September 11th, 2001 and still when I think about that day the pictures in my head are still as vivid as they were that fateful day.
I ask everyone today to take a moment to remember what happened on September 11th, 2001, please not only remember the victims but also remember how everyone came together as one, helping one another to get past this tragedy.
September 11th may be remembered as a sad day, but it can also be remembered as the day where everyone was American sticking together helping out one another, there was no black or white, no spanish or english, just a bunch of Americans helping on another out. As I sit back and reflect I remember walking through the streets of downtown Hartford after this happened and how strange it was walking through the streets having people you didn't even know saying hi and being super friendly and ultimately sticking together as Americans.
