I'm happy for you. Now, where's ours?? (NESN HD)

It seems E* forgot about us in New England.

No NESN HD
No FSN New England HD
No HD Locals (Providence)

But we still pay the same $20.00 for HD programing. I am starting to understand why I see so many D* dishes around here.

I love my E* service and my 622 and really do not want to switch. So I guess I will just have to live without them....

Feeling forgotten in New England

Feeling forgotten here in the Cincinnati area, too. No locals on sat, our single RSN is not available in HD.. same $20/month. :) Beats the hell out of TWC or D* though so I'm still happy.

Off-topic: I love this site and made a donation, thanks for the site Scott!

Well I think their at the half way mark on having all of the RSN's added. I have mine but right now there is just not allot being broadcast on the channel in HD. Which looking at the schedule explains that as well.

Don't forget about us in CT. I hate watching the SOX on NESN where they constantly remind me i'm not watching in HD. Also the locals in hartford would be nice too.

Baseball gets the least amount of advantage in HD, in my opinion. As long as the HD is on by college football season I'll be happy.

I'm in Dayton, Ohio, and like tsc I'm waiting for Cincinnati HD locals and FSN Ohio HD. I'm in no huge hurry, though. I'll "move" as soon as the HD locals for Cincinnati are up, however.

I believe Connecticut is considered part of New England but at least you guys have a few more HD options than we do in Vermont and NH. Because of the terrain up here many of us can't get OTA and since cable companies are not allowed to compete with each other, there's no pressure for them to even get HD in many areas.

Anyway, Dish Network has screwed the Northeast and will continue to do so because we have so few options. I guess I can understand that as a business decision but they could at least stop lying and misleading about it.

I was told by top level Dish executives 2 years ago that we would either have HD LiLs or HD DNS up here "soon". Not only has none of that happened, they screwed us out of the CBS-HD distant feed to boot. Now it looks like we will not be getting any HD RSNs either.

This combined with:
Lowering the PQ of many of the HD channels they do carry.
Forcing us to upgrade from 942s to 622s if we want the newer HD channels (then they turn around and break the 622).
Promise us things like external storage & local-specific weather but don't deliver.
Then they had the nerve to increase prices.

Sooner or later though we will have options up here (maybe FIOS or better cable options) and then Dish may do something but it better be a lot because right now if anyone offers NESN and the networks in HD I will leave in a heartbeat - even if the price is higher. I'm tired of being lied to.

I told him once already. I wish I could have such a positive attitude towards E*. He's the only person I know in the forums with such a positive attitude towards E*. Poke, do you have E* stocks or are you Charlie's nephew?

Another here in CT... Aren't we up there on the DMA list? I know that's not what E* is going by, but we are feeling a little forgotten. No local HD, NESN HD, or (Dare I Say) YES HD. Ya that's a dream, but it would be a dream come true for me.

You are never going to see YES, yet alone YES HD on Dish as long as George Steinbrenner wants YES in the cheapest package.

I myself am glad that Charlie and crew at E* are willing to play hardball with programming providers, instead of rolling over like cable, and D* does.

Here you go. Everyone can check their RSN Schedule below.

FSN South

Wednesday, Apr. 25, 2007
6:30 PM Braves Live
7:00 PM Braves at Marlins
10:00 PM Braves Live
10:30 PM FSN Final Score

SportSouth is different from FSN South. SportSouth used to be Turner South, but was bought out by FSN South. They show different games. For instance, FSN South shows pretty much all braves games on Wednesday Nights and SportSouth shows about 3 or 4 braves games the rest of the days of the week (none on wednesday). More information can be found here.

LOL! :) I don't have stocks with Dish and I'm not related to anyone that works for Dish. Just try to be helpful and try to positive toward things is all. You can never please everyone I figure we already have enough people that complain about everything. :)
