Satellte Guys website sluggish

I do not know what can be the problem but, of all the websites that I visit....Satellite Guys is very slow for me. I have tried with Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have an accelerator. Still...the site is the slowest of all. It just takes a long time for things to load...for example, when i'm on the main page and click on directhd forum.......it takes a very long time to finially get there. What do you suggest. thanks, Bill

for me too. Mostly by night (US) / in the morning (Europe) between 2am and 4am (New York Time) / 8am and 10am (Berlin Time)

well on the day it runs fast enough. Only by night I have trouble.

Looks like the issue is there between the handoff in the UK to the US, thats where your numbers go down the hill.

I do think we need to move the ads and image server to the same ISP where the database server is located, that will take care of a lot of issues.

Part of the site is coming from Dallas, while other parts are coming from St Louis.

I just had an issue where I clicked New Posts and it hung and then reported page not found.

Refreshed and then it worked OK...

Doing a tracert and every request times out after the 2nd hop. My ISP.

The average Ping is 45ms.

No biggie..
