Unit has an amazing blind scan. Will pick up and view 4:2:0 SD, 4:2:0 HD and DVB-S2. Will blind scan accurately a sat in about 5 minutes or less. Will not play 4:2:2 though.
You can hook up a Hard drive to record from it. I had used a 320GB drive but there are posts of folks using a 1TB drive.
Works with a motor and is very accurate. Has HDMI/component/composite output. Has AC-3 capability but you need an external audio receiver to decode it.
I will even throw in a grounded european/US adapter too.
