Scammer using Dish phone number

We no longer answer our land line.

As a matter of fact all we got on it were credit card fixers and scammers so I hooked my fax machine up to it.

After a week or so the calls dropped to nearly nothing, evidently a fax squeal a couple of times gets you dropped from their list of in-use phone lines.

I hope I have enough memory in my cell phone to hold the list of blocked numbers i'm building.

We used to have competitors spoof one of our phone numbers when they did outbound telemarketing for Dish.

I remember having to literally shut down certain phone numbers to stop the complaint calls.

If the complaints where not bad enough. People would call dish, complain to them and we would then get Dish calling asking for the name of our dealership so they could send out a nasty gram.

It was easier to shut down the phone number than to have to deal with the dish compliance Natzies for something we didn’t do.

They even have neighbor spoofing where they spoof the same area code and first 3 digits.
