Its made so you can hang it behind the TV, so looks really don't matter.

The only negative I see with the new UI from the pics is not having a full 3 hour view in the guide? Is that changeable in the settings? Most of the popular shows come on between the 8pm-11pm time slot. So when looking ahead in the guide for the week for shows to record, it's nice to be able to see that entire time slot all at one time.

Not sure, I think they are downloaded overnight to the hard drive. You might not see them for a day or two if I remember correctly.

Press Guide twice, 3 then under advanced select "Hide duplicate SD channels"

SD channels show for me on Hopper 3. Maybe a fix is in the works.

There isn't at this time. We are hoping dish gives us that option "soon"

Are the power supplies for the 4K Joey and Joey 2 the same as the ones used for the original Joeys, with that proprietary end connector on it?
