I'm listening to http://sfawbn.com/. all of my info is the same except for the Symbol rate. I have 20765 and the website calls for 20770. I scanned in star 1 with a blind scan just fine. What role does the symbol rate play? It seems to make no difference unless the website is wrong and I do have the correct information.

If I'm not mistaken, sometimes the frequency and symbol rate might read slightly off because of extreme temperature effects or lower quality control, causing drift in the L.O. of your lnb. My lnb does this all the time. There was a thread about this recently, resulting in this great explanation (I'm just assuming somehow symbol rate also figures into this, because I've noticed if my freq. is off, often times the symbol rate is, too). http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/301707-LNB-LO-Frequency-101?p=3066758#post3066758
