Sucks.... Noticed today that there is no option to watch on iPad any ESPN or SEC games with either of the apps. No option for it in the DirecTV app and DirecTV not listed as a supported provider in the ESPN app. Hmmmm.. Anyone know why? Are the trying to get more money from Direct to provide or allow this service.

You just noticed this today? We have never had this service. There are several threads about it. Access is expected at the next major deal, which I believe is around the new year.

Is there a list somewhere of stream-able channels? Random checking seems to indicate it's a extremely small list.

Sign in online and the online guide shows which can be streamed. There are actually quite a few channels that can be streamed but not much for sports.

Thanks, it looks like there's about 30-35 of them, and when I tried MLB Network, which shows in the filter it said not available and I'm guessing that's because there's an actual game being broadcast right now. I'll try it later, but do you know if that's what the deal is, sports channel that has a game is blocked but otherwise view-able at other times?

Thanks

Another question, for viewing on a computer(Windows 7 PC) is there any other way to view the stream than the un-scalable window in the browser page? Like maybe a pop-out window at the very least?

This is a BIG problem it involves the Contract with Directv and Disney which it is NOT ON mobile devices. also,It is the same with FOX SPORTS GO/FOX NEWS GO and FOX BSINESS Go. were stuck with watching these channels at home or a hotel/motel to see/watch the cable networks instead of watching on mobile devices same with NFL NETWORK also. It stinks to me personally.

This is a BIG problem not carrying WATCHESPN on right now. Directv and Disney are still in talks to carry the streaming apps. It is the same with the FOX SPORTS/FOX NEWS and FOX BUSINESS GO apps and NFL NETWORK apps as well. So we will have to see these cable networks at home or at an hotel/motel to see/watch the programs/content instead of watching it on mobile devices.
