SEC network is not a channel

but a group of channels that ESPN has sold broadcast rights to around the country to show SEC football and basketball games. ESPN Regional TV controls this and if you live in the SEC area most of the channels are the same the RAYCOM games were on last year. The new deal has added many areas outside of the Southeast for SEC football. I believe I read the L.A., New York, Chicago and many other large cities now have "SEC Network" affiliates.

Thanks. I was unsure if it was going to be a single channel but I understand now with ESPN and the locals.


CBS and ESPN won the contract to provide video feeds from the SEC for the next 15 years. CBS will carry most of the large high profile games and ESPN will pick up some as well.
