Select on 622

Is there a setting that you can turn off on the 622 so when you turn off the rec that you dont have to hit select after you turn the rec back on?

Get a Harmony remote. The Harmony 622 PVR programming takes care of that for you. Other universal remotes probably do that, too. When you turn your system off with the 622 remote, the 622 isn't turned off - it just goes into sleep mode on its own schedule and you have to hit select to wake it up.

i don't understand the question, but i never use 'select' to turn mine on, just the power button.
