it doesn't unstack but rather directs the DBS band to one tuner and the stacked (DP) band to the other. Also blocks DC and DiSEqC from tuner 2.

The 22-1 referenced by Engadget is the 622-1 which has an upgraded hard drive.

I'm guessing that current 622's have a 320GB drive and that the 622-1 upgrades that to the 500GB drives. This is supposed to have space reserved for dish on demand and still allow for greater storage space for us.
