since dish has my info DL and SSN. i was wondering if the senior plan is worth signing up for ?? the only deal i see that i would get is a free PPV each month and 6 months of the protection plan... Do i need to call in and request it or will i be enrolled automaticly

John, if you are not currently under contract then you can call to see if they will offer you programming and equipment discounts if you agree to sign a new 2 or 3 year commitment. Sometimes they may also give you extra perks like 3 to 6 months of a specialty or premium service. It never hurts to ask, especially if you have been a good paying customer and plan to stay with Dish. Oh, try to get transferred a U.S. based CSR which have the authority to make these deals.

My father account is 25 years old and he is 75 they have never offer him "senior" discount best he ever got is free monthly movies. and I general deal with them just to get discounts not him.

Normal dish bill is like $210 normal I can get them to give $50 for 12mo plus the half off dish movie packages reapplied every time it about to end which tend to keep the bill under $160 (usual $155 or lower)

I just redid "discounts" which I could not get $50 off for 12mo they only had 2years price lock on the 250 package for $109 instead of $129 it is now? and some other discount that brought the bill down to $165 or $160 if and when autopay is put back on.

Never mind fact I found all these years I was told I had no contract cause I specifically told them NO contract and they said they waived it, was lie they never waived it . out 10+ years I been doing that and be told there was no contract only 2020 ~ 2022 had no contracts.

In the end though I am done deal with dish to get discount. my dad can deal with them or cancel them at this point. Seeing most channel I now watch are dish "streaming" channels which are all available on sling "free verison" and anything else I still watch on it that I record things I can get threw other means

Only channel that might issue or tcm,amc,cartoon network and syfy

BTW I have 2 H3 box one owned one leased and they still refused to give discount on owned h3 while lately i seen people around stating they are getting discounts on them. If they would let us buy both h3 and give use $5 discount on each I would done it buy now, and would of also bought joeys 2 we lease to knock another $2x2 for 4$ off to per month the joey fee arnt what hurt is the h3 fee at one point hopper fee was 10$ or less but they since raised to $12 and now $15.

This still to much as he already complained, Andriod TV and install DishAnywhere and just get 1 H3 and no joeys and have everyone use dish anywhere TV (but DVR listing would be mess find anything) , would probably cheapest why around all this, but unlikely to go over well with people in the house, Pretty sure my mom is only reason why dish hasn't been canceled, cause she would complain there nothing to watch anymore

It is important to note that you can only use one DishAnywhere feed at a time. So, if you had 2 Joeys that you replaced with Firesticks or Apple TVs you would only be able to view one location at a time.

Dropping below 250 package sadly wont happen cause Bein sport Channels are only part 250 package and if get sports package it just become same price as 250 package and anything bellow 200 package starts drop channels everyone watches.

Yes the locals you have on the Hopper are the same ones streamed even if out of Market. I watch my Daughter's Hopper in Florida for NFL games not on local TV here no VPN etc...

At one time I had to be recording the local and watch that recording in progress, at some point that became no longer needed. That may have been only for the CBS local.

From what bobby said the locals come from the hopper!!! if i'm in NY i can still get NV locals!!! with direct they just disapear!!! the senior plan is one free movie rental per month 6 months of the protection plan discounted pricing my guess the pricing is for new subs!!! that's all i could find on it...

we own the joey 4 and wireless joey the 5.00 a month and not 7.00 a month our hopper 3 is 10.00 a month and not 15.00 a month were paying 9.00 for locals not worth droping. we the have to dongle when contract renewals come up!!!
