My father account is 25 years old and he is 75 they have never offer him "senior" discount best he ever got is free monthly movies. and I general deal with them just to get discounts not him.
Normal dish bill is like $210 normal I can get them to give $50 for 12mo plus the half off dish movie packages reapplied every time it about to end which tend to keep the bill under $160 (usual $155 or lower)
I just redid "discounts" which I could not get $50 off for 12mo they only had 2years price lock on the 250 package for $109 instead of $129 it is now? and some other discount that brought the bill down to $165 or $160 if and when autopay is put back on.
Never mind fact I found all these years I was told I had no contract cause I specifically told them NO contract and they said they waived it, was lie they never waived it . out 10+ years I been doing that and be told there was no contract only 2020 ~ 2022 had no contracts.
In the end though I am done deal with dish to get discount. my dad can deal with them or cancel them at this point. Seeing most channel I now watch are dish "streaming" channels which are all available on sling "free verison" and anything else I still watch on it that I record things I can get threw other means
Only channel that might issue or tcm,amc,cartoon network and syfy
BTW I have 2 H3 box one owned one leased and they still refused to give discount on owned h3 while lately i seen people around stating they are getting discounts on them. If they would let us buy both h3 and give use $5 discount on each I would done it buy now, and would of also bought joeys 2 we lease to knock another $2x2 for 4$ off to per month the joey fee arnt what hurt is the h3 fee at one point hopper fee was 10$ or less but they since raised to $12 and now $15.
.. we switch services once the promos are over and move on every two 
. they trained us to play the rate game!!! we used dish as a threat with dtv and the deals flew out most of the time!!! though to me 205.00 isn't bad for t.v.!!! it's when you refinance the house and give your right arm left leg and your right testicle that you hate up!!!! i refuse to pay 300.00 to watch tv 
same sh*t over and over different channels more commericals than the show
