Serving You For 23 Years! Happy Birthday SatelliteGuys!

[Scott Greczkowski]

Yeah, 23 years and like the Energizer bunny, we are still going!

We would not be here today if it were for the kind support of our members! Ad revenue is almost nil now so now more then ever THANK YOU to all our supporters who help us keep the lights on.

As you may have noticed we have updated the look of the site to a more modern look! I won't like I asked ChatGPT to help us look more modern and it helped... a lot!

Now while changes were made if you see something out of sorts that could use some tweeks please let me know and I will do my best to make them.

I have been working on the server to make us one of the fastest forums around as well. I am amazed at how good this server is running now. And we wouldn't have such a good server if it was not for our supporters as well.

Many forum owners just set up their forum and let them go. Not me, I am always looking for ways to make things better here and I do that through software and hardware to make us (hopefully) stand out.

Its been a wild and amazing 23 years!

We all know SatelliteGuys isn't just a Satellite Discussion site anymore... for many folks this place is HOME.

Thank you for being here, welcome home and Happy Birthday SatelliteGuys!

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this. I definitely appreciate you. I check out the site no less than five times a day to see what's going on!

[charlesrshell]

Happy Birthday. Thanks Scott for all what you do

[b4pjoe]

Cough. TVGuys. Cough.

[Tampa8]

No one puts more time and care into their site, and has been that way since the start.
Congrats!

And on the redesign!

Happy Birthday Satellite Guys! Here's to 23 more! Thanks for all you do Scott!

[Foxbat]

Happy Birthday, SatelliteGuys! Coming up soon on a quarter of a Century!

[dfergie]

23 years, just getting into our prime…

[Bobby]

I am one of the original Satellite Guys, Number 29 to be exact. I've been here since day 1 and I have made this almost a second home. Thank you, Scott, for starting it and keeping it up all these years!

Picking nits here. The "I've posted" image is overlaying almost all of the original poster image.

And seeing who was the last poster in a thread was right nice.

Huh, that's interesting, I'm seeing normal-sized avatars on the thread titles on my iPhone 17:

[klang]

I'm seeing the enlarged 'I've posted avatar' as well. Safari on a Mac. Default profile.

I bow down to you, Bobby. I lurked for an entire week before actually joining.

Congratulations on the anniversary, Scott. Your hard work is appreciated.

Navy it is fixed now.

Dilettante!

Not that my opinion matters but I like it.

[dishstaller]

Congrats Scott. I joined Oct 2003 so I guess I'm one of the "old souls". I always supported you and Claude whenever I was asked to. I've been self-employed since 1984 and realize things cost money.

If you like this site and have gotten help from it...you OWE it to yourself to help support it.
