I got a 1000.2 dish with a Western LNB today from a neighbor to use with my tripod setup. I was looking at the bracket that has the settings for the skew and elevation. What do I set these points to on the brackets?

There's a small punched out triangle pointer for the skew, and the front edge of the elevation nut is the marker for that setting.

I found it. It was covered by dirt. My neighbor had this in his barn for a while. It is a 1000.2 dish with a DPP LNB. I have cleaned the dirt off of the LNB covers and I will replace the short cable at Port 1. Do I need to put caps on the other three ports?
