The 'A' model (the one you have) has a larger shaft and no hole, since it is not designed for clamp-mount style dishes, but rather for U-bolt styles. There is a 'B' model (the ones I'm installing are 'B's) that has a smaller diameter shaft and is designed for clamp-mount style dishes. It has the holes through the shaft.
