Did COVID kill Shane Warne by prompting a heart attack?

Professor Jeremy Nicholson from Murdoch University said there was a 'significant possibility' Shane Warne's underlying heart conditions could have been exacerbated by his Covid-19 infections.

He was so much more than a Cricketer he used his stardom to help others everyday it seems. the stories I've heard the past week made me more of a fan, and I don't understand Cricket at all.

The real oddity was he died the same day as the older Aussie Cricket wicket keeper (~the Catcher) legend Rod Marsh. It was a bit confusing as they were talking about the loss of Marsh during the opening day of the first Test match with Pakistan and then a bit later, Warne was being memorialized.
