SHIVA impact for VOOM?

Well, there's incredible buzz in the other forums regarding SHIVA allowing much better Network HD options for sat viewers. Everybody seems to think Dish and DirecTV will JUMP at the possibility of getting "digital" network feeds to subscribers.
Is VOOM poised for anything here? You'd think they of all systems would need to follow up on this, and quickly - since "locals/networks" are their weak suit.
One CSR told me they still have the NBC-HD feed on the satellite, though it is generally "turned off" to subs.
 
SHVIA applies to all the DBS guys, so yes. The only thing voom can not participate in is providing distant HD signals to analog lil subscribers since they don't carry any lil.
 
Well, then that is going to be a BIG limitation. How about any hope for those in white/gray or less than grade B area? In other words ... and for example, I am in a TOTAL dead spot for CBS - can't even get sound in analog mode.
And what if one has a nice clean waver in hand?
